ECSCW 2020 Workshop
Hurry up and get informed about how to contribute!
Here you will find all relevant information on the workshop “Fostering Accessibility at the Workplace through Community-based Participatory Research” that we are organising at the 2020 European Conference on Computer-Supported Cooperative Work (ECSCW 2020), which will be held in Siegen, Germany, between the 13th and the 17th June.
We are working to bring different stakeholders together, as for example, people with disability, companies, service providers, researchers and policy makers, so to discuss how Community-based Participatory Research (CBPR) can support unravelling needs of people with disability from a socio-informatics perspective, so to develop a concept to sensitise society to the relevance of investing in highly accessible solutions at the workplace.
We hope you will join us in this exciting and socially-relevant discussion.

NOTE ON COVID-19 (CORONA)
As per the official note from the ECSCW 2020 organisation (https://ecscw.eusset.eu/2020/index.php/information-on-the-current-status-of-covid-19-corona-virus/), ECSCW 2020 is still planned to happen between 13th and 17th June. We are sensitive to the situation and are monitoring it. Currently, the conference organisers are working on alternatives that would allow remote participation in the conference activities. We, the workshop organisers, are also adjusting our workshop to an online format. We are keen to make the workshop happen and will find a safe and appropriate way to do so. Therefore, we warmly invite submissions. We are really looking forward to the envisaged exchanges.
The disability is not the problem. The accessibility is the problem.Mohamed Jemni
